SENS Summary

 

Merafe Resources Limited (MRF)

  • Merafe released a production report and trading statement for the year ended 31 December 2017. Their attributable ferrochrome production for the full year increased only marginally. They expect to report an increase in both their HEPS and EPS of between 63% and 82%. This is mainly driven by higher chrome ore and ferrochrome prices.

 

Spur Corporation Limited (SUR)

  • Spur published a sales update for the six months ended 31 December 2017. Their franchised restaurant sales decreased by 2.6%, their sales from international restaurants increased by 1.3% in Rand terms and by 3.2% on a constant currency exchange rate basis. The best performer was RocoMamas, showing an increase in sales of 37.5%.

British American Tobacco PLC (BTI)

 

BTI moved 0.19% higher to close at R821.59. Horizontal support can be found at R814.57, followed by R797.94. The stochastic indicates that the share is trading at oversold levels. The 50-day moving average at R869.09 could act as a short term resistance level.
