Tiger Brands Limited is a manufacturer of branded food products in sub-Saharan Africa.
On 22 May 2019, the company released its interim results for the period ended 31 March 2019. They reported diluted headline earnings per share of 759 cents (1H18: 865.3 cents) from continued operations, down by 12.3% compared to the prior period.
Excluding the VAMP business, domestic revenue was up a healthy 6%, driven by a 2% increase in volumes and 4% price inflation locally.
