Coronation recently released its interim financial results for the period ended 31 March 2020. The company reported an increase of 8% in revenue to R1.8bn (1H2019: R1.6bn), and net profit was up by 8% to R624 million (1H2019: R578 million). Total assets under management (AUM) declined by 11% to R508bn for the six months (FY2019: R571 billion). The largest net outflow by value came from the South African institutional business segment, which reported an AUM of R216bn (FY2019: R240 billion).
The group reported diluted headline earnings per share of 178.3 cents (1H2019: 165.1 cents), up by 8% compared to the prior period.
